Workshop submissions for 2026 have now closed.

NCHC 2026 offers an outstanding professional development, networking, and learning opportunity for health professionals across Australia and overseas who work in bladder, bowel, and pelvic health.

Submission Guidelines

Please read all instructions carefully. Submissions that do not follow guidelines will be returned. Accepted workshops will be published exactly as submitted.

Important Notes

  • Only online submissions will be accepted.
  • All workshops must be submitted in English.
  • Multiple submissions are permitted; however, workshop chairs and speakers may take part in a maximum of two workshops.
  • Workshops will be assessed according to the 2026 conference theme.


Accepted Workshops will:

  • be published as submitted
  • appear in the conference app
  • be available to all delegates

Please proofread your submission before submitting.

Workshops

  • Held Wednesday 13 May 2026 at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (unless approved off-site).
  • Half-day: 8:30am–12:00pm or 12:30pm–4:00pm (includes 20-minute break)
  • Full-day: 8:30am–4:00pm (2 × 20-minute breaks + 30-minute lunch)
  • Formats may include seminars, debates, discussion groups, or forums.

  • Notification to Workshop Presenters: 27 Feb 2026
  • Preliminary Program Released: 4 Mar 2026
  • Notification to Abstract Authors: Week commencing 9 Mar 2026
  • NCHC 2026: 13–16 May 2026

Submitting Your Workshop

The online portal requires entry of workshop details, including title, presenters, bios and abstract.

Applicants must:

  • Specify workshop format and topic.
  • Provide relevant experience, qualifications and publications.
  • List all speakers and confirm availability.
  • State workshop aims, objectives and educational value.
  • Explain the rationale for inclusion in the conference.
  • Provide a program outline.
  • Identify any financial support requests and include a proposed budget.
  • List any special technical/practical requirements.
  • Indicate if attendance should be capped.
  • Manage all speaker coordination and communication.
  • Collect and submit all handouts for printing before the conference.


Note: Workshop chairs and speakers are not paid. Only non-member specialists may be eligible for limited expense reimbursement (excluding airfares, accommodation and registration). All expense requests must be included in the submission and approved by the Scientific Committee.


Notification of Outcomes

  • Outcome notifications will be emailed on 27 February 2026.
  • Only the corresponding presenter will be contacted and must notify co-presenters.
  • If no notification is received by 27 February, contact: conference@continence.org.au

To submit multiple workshops, complete the first submission, then select “Workshop Submission” to start another.


Eligibility

  • Workshops must not have been previously published or presented elsewhere.
  • Case reports will not be reviewed.
  • All abstracts must be in English.


Product Name Usage

  • Avoid institutional and commercial names where possible.
  • If a trade name is unavoidable, include it in brackets after a generic description and list all comparable products.


Responsibilities of the Corresponding Presenter

  • Ensure all presenters approve the submission.
  • Communicate program changes to co-presenters.
  • Collect conflict-of-interest disclosures.
  • Review presentation materials for compliance.
  • Disclose any equipment to be used or supplied by sponsors.
  • Note: Continence Health Australia manages all sponsorship.


Revisions

  • Review your submission proof carefully.
  • Make corrections before final submission using the portal menu.
  • You may withdraw your workshop if major errors are found.
  • You cannot submit until all mandatory fields are complete.
  • Once complete, select “Conclude Submission.”


Withdrawals

Requests to withdraw must be emailed after the closing date to conference@continence.org.au

and include:

  • workshop title
  • presenters and affiliations
  • submitter name, affiliation, phone and email

Presenters receive complimentary attendance to their workshop. A minimum number of participants is required for workshops to proceed; this will be communicated upon acceptance.
