Terms & Conditions

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Abstracts must be original and not previously published or presented
  • Case reports will not be reviewed
  • Avoid commercial product names where possible
  • Trade names, if required, must include names of all similar products in that class
  • All abstracts must be prepared in English
  • Work may be rejected if guidelines are not followed

Responsibilities of the Corresponding Author

  • Ensure all authors approve the content
  • Inform co-authors of any updates or program changes
  • Collect and submit conflict-of-interest disclosures
  • Review all final presentation materials before the conference

Abstract Acceptance & Notifications

  • Corresponding authors will be notified week commencing 9 Mar 2026
  • If notification is not received by 16 Mar, contact conference@continence.org.au
  • Corresponding authors must share decisions with all co-authors

Abstract Review Scoring Criteria

All abstracts will be assessed using the following criteria

  • Originality /Topicality: New knowledge or new research on a known topic, and/or relevance to contemporary practice
  • Methods / Results: Quality of research methodology (quantitative or qualitative) and clarity of data analysis/findings
  • Clinical Relevance: Application of research outcomes to continence practice or issues

Revisions & Withdrawals

  • Revisions can be made before final submission
  • Withdrawals after 16 Mar must be submitted in writing
  • To avoid publication, withdrawals must be received by 24 Mar 2026
  • Withdrawn abstracts after this date may still appear in conference materials

  • Presenter Registration Deadline: 24 Mar 2026
  • NCHC 2026: 13–16 May 2026
